    I started rawtill4 5 months ago. Took Freelees advice to stay off the
    scale! After all, i didnt go into this for the weightloss, although i
    needed to lose, i started to get healthy! I have had acne since i was 10
    years old! A rare skin condition called H.S, plus an 8 day heavy flow
    period that was causing anemia, and as if that wasnt enough, i had zero
    energy. So yeah, i wanted to heal. Here i am, month 5, tons of energy, 3
    day normal flo period, acne clearing, no new breakouts!!! H.S showing signs
    of remission, my anemia seems better, ( gums are pink again, not white) AND
    people have noticed weight loss!!! I got on the scale, out of curiosity,
    and have lost 35 lbs!!! Feeling awesome! Thanks you for doing what you
    do!!! Without you being so dedicated and inspiring i would still be
    stumbling along. :)

    Well good morning (8:30 in Greece)… I want to say something that bothers
    me since yesterday.. please if someone wants to advice me, go for it…
    I went to my doctor (cardiologist) for my annual exams yesterday. I’m
    totally fine, my heart at least it’s perfect. My blood pressure, perfect.
    My cardiogram, prefect! Because of my weight, I;m always afraid that my
    blood pressure would be high. But not any mooooore. I;m on the rawtill4
    about a month and a half now and im feeling great. I have lost 13lbs and i
    didn;t even try! Well, the thing that i wanna say is this: My doctor asked
    what i am eating… so i told her… and oh dear god… ”
    What crap is this?” ” Are you completely insane?” “What?? 10 bananas a
    day?” She was soooo mad and she was looking at me like I was the crazy one!
    I asked her if the 10 bananas a day are bad for the heart… and she said
    “no, they are not. They are bad for your weight!!! Toooo many calories!!!”
    She was so upset that it was ridiculous. of course she advised me to eat
    very small proportion of salads, not to eat 3 tomatoes a day, and tara ta
    tan (drama button) to eat meat because im gonna die without it! Maybe not
    tomorrow, not in a year or two, but MY HEALTH will go down in a few
    years… I want to say, that it is a good doctor but she is so
    narrow-minded and ignorant that it pisses me of! However, her words
    affected me and now I’m feeling very weird…

      When I went vegetarian (before I went vegan later on), I found a lot of
      people felt a need to make a judgment about what I was doing and tried to
      argue with me. I have always been fascinated about why this happens,
      because it seems that there is something very social and emotional about
      food that is behind this. Our societies tend to brag about how we are
      individuals with a right of self-determination, but deep down there is a
      kind of mass consciousness conformity that want people to lock step into
      and is willing to call people back into conformity with a kind of intense
      communication about the subject, even coopting science and even religion to
      back up their approaches and bolster up their authority about this. We are
      humans that like social approval and it always affects us when we are used
      to getting it and then do not get it. I found a part of me that felt a
      pressure to go back and it was my compassion for animals, at the time, that
      made me gently take my stand where I was. It is a sad thing that we have
      to go through this process, breaking free of the human social herd, and
      going our way. I found, though, that this was yet another gift of being
      vegetarian and then vegan. Eventually it does come back to bless us, like
      when I noticed that deer could tell the difference between a vegan human
      and a carnivore, and felt I was a friend. One deer raw towards me while
      walking in nature, being chased by some hunters who are riding on the back
      of a truck to shoot it down. Another deer came into my kitchen just to say
      hello. The hidden gift, I found, was a deep peace with all sentient beings
      of a wide range of species and a deep peace with nature, return to
      something that humans have partly lost. I found later on, too, that other
      human friends started to do the same. I would share with your doctor that
      you are exploring this diet and want to see where it leads, and want to
      give it a chance, and thank her for her concern and care, but just gently
      share that conventional wisdom could be wrong about this, and you are
      questioning it and have a right to try it out.

      of you that we all are individuals and clearly have different style of
      living. If our “style” doesn’t harm you or anyone else, please stop being

    Great Video and it came just to the right time. I had today in the morning
    a conversation on the topic how long does the body need to recover – for
    some people (me at the beginning of Rt4 too haha=) it’s so hard to imagine
    that it can take months or year.

    Maybe you can do a video that get’s deeper in this stuff of healing the
    metabolic system of the body.Would be great.

    When i first started high carb raw vegan occasionally rt4 the weight melted
    off, 20kg in less than 5 months.. The weight loss has slowed down but the
    healing has truly begun… I suffered from anorexia, bulimia, laxative
    abuse, alcohol abuse, even an attempted suicide and alcohol poisoning that
    would have lead to death had I not been admitted to the ER……don’t judge
    your progress on weight loss. Your body may have been through a lot and you
    need to give it time. I still have another 15 kg to lose but I’m not in a
    rush, I’m happy for the first time in my life… You truly are what u eat..
    You eat dead animals you feel like death you eat living things you feel
    alive.

    You are literally the most inspiring person I know. I just wish you got
    more press coverage. Image the impact if you could get on a big tv show or
    sky news. It would be insane.
    The vegan community is growing though and I feel your input has made it
    significantly larger. I live in a very backwards part of the UK and even
    here, the vegan community in cornwall is flourishing. It’s so nice to see!

    Dear Freelee, I love watching your videos and enjoy your personality.
    However I do not follow your diet. I am sorry if that offends anyone but I
    do not really see why I would have to. I have been eating animal products
    and bread my whole life, I am not overweight I consider myself quite slim
    actually (I am 58 kilo’s (128 lbs) and I am 5 foot 7). I have lots of
    energy and I feel healthy. However you probably say I am killing myself,
    and I wonder why, if I feel great why would I change my diet. And frankly I
    don’t love sweet that much, I like something more hardy sometimes. I know a
    lot of people that do not follow raw till 4 and a lot of them are happy, so
    why do you keep telling me animal products make you depressed. It’s great
    that you found your own way of eating and all, but I just don’t see why I
    should do it.

      Hi Sadie.
      Firstly, one with compassion dislikes to know there is animal brutality
      providing masses of meat to today’s conditioned society. It’s really sad
      to continuously kill conscious beings(animals) to provide for human
      consumption. Therefore, to consume that meat is partaking in the gruesome
      slaughter of animals. Consuming meat supports the industry to kill a lot
      of animals. Some research on the matter will broaden your views. 🙂

      There are plenty of documentaries out there on this topic: Cowspiracy,
      Earthling, Food Matters etc.

      But teeth, sure, each to their own. Like you say.. “no one can tell you
      what will make you feel good”.. if eating flesh makes one feel good.. then
      maybe one should reconsider their thoughts, instincts, heart, etc. to what
      feels good, is ethical and makes sense. 🙂

    Hi Freelee… I am doing rawtill4… It is normal the headache everyday on
    this my second week? I am having better sleep patterns from the first day
    and i feel i am losing weight already but the headaches are getting me
    crazy… Please reply! I love this lifestyle!! Thanks God I found you!!!

      I had the same thing happen to me i realised that i needed to eat more
      fruit and the headages will go away… You nned more fruit maybe your not
      eating enough .. After the 3rd week i no longer get headages.

    After a year of being a junk food vegan I think I am ready to try Raw til
    4. Im in such a healthy happy place mentally. I feel amazing being vegan.
    Now that I am confident weeding out all the animal products consistently
    for a year I think it’s the perfect time! So excited!

    I think that I may try Raw Till 4 I am sick of my stomach. I’m not

    I’ve only been doing RT4 for a week and my skin has already cleared up so
    much! As a teenager I struggle with oily, acne prone skin but after
    switching my diet from just a vegetarian diet I have seen improvements
    better than anything else that I’ve tried! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
